  • U.S. Sentencing Guidelines 20th Anniversary Advisory Group.  CSLG professionals played lead roles in an independent advisory group formed by the Ethics Resource Center to make recommendations to the U.S. Sentencing Commission and the broader enforcement community for improving the promotion and recognition of effective compliance and ethics programs.  The distinguished experts in the advisory group include current and former officials from the Sentencing Commission, Department of Justice, Securities and Exchange Commission, Federal Judiciary, White House, Congress, as well as in-house practitioners from organizations such as Bechtel, Dignity Health, Fidelity Investments, General Electric, KPMG LLP, Novartis Corporation and Verizon Wireless.  Win Swenson served as co-chair of the group and Scott Avelino served as one of the lead authors of the group’s recommendations report.  The advisory group’s report can be accessed here.
  • Ethics Resource Center.  Win Swenson is currently serving as the Policy Fellow for the ERC Fellows Program.  The mission of the ERC Fellows Program is to research, develop, and advocate for organizational ethics with a measurable impact.  The ERC Fellows pledge to accomplish their mission through open dialogue around cutting-edge ethics issues, collaborative research, communications, and work products with practical applications.  Scott Roney served as a corporate ERC Fellow for over 10 years and served on the board of directors of the Ethics Resource Center from 2005-10, including two years as chairman. 
  • Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics.  Win Swenson will be presenting on the government’s policies and practices on crediting compliance programs at the SCCE’s annual conference in October 2013. 
  • Association of General Counsel.  At an October, 2012 meeting in Washington, D.C., Win Swenson served on a panel with former Deputy Attorney General, Paul McNulty, former Congressman, Michael Oxley, and current Ethics Resource Center president, Pat Harned, to explain the findings and recommendations of the Sentencing Guidelines 20th Anniversary Advisory Group to general counsel of some of the country’s largest companies.
  • PBS Television Show, “In Search of the Good Corporate Citizen”. Win Swenson and Bill Prachar appeared as expert panelists on this TV program.  Swenson was also senior advisor to the show which aired on PBS stations around the country.  Information on the show is at
